River Bridge & Trailing Flowers — Vintage Framed Textile Picture

An unusual vintage textile picture combining trailing blue and yellow flowers with a softly painted river landscape and small arched bridge.

The design appears painted on a fine, lustrous fabric, possibly silk, giving the pale background a gentle sheen. Delicate stems and green leaves surround the miniature landscape, creating a lovely decorative composition.

Presented behind glass with a pale cream mount and a gold-tone frame. A charming little piece for a cottage interior, bedroom or collected gallery wall.

Measurements

Approximately 20.5cm wide × 20.5cm high, including the frame.

Condition

In good vintage condition overall, with some faint marks and uneven toning visible on the fabric and mount. The frame has scratches, small chips and patches of wear to its gold finish, particularly along the top edge and corners. Please see the photographs for details.
