An art print after the Flemish baroque master Peter Paul Rubens, showing the classical story of Roman Charity: Pero nursing her chained, imprisoned father Cimon in a dim stone cell, with straw on the floor and light falling through the barred window.
The deep shadows, warm flesh tones and touches of red make it a dramatic, moody old master piece. Presented behind glass in a two-tone wooden frame, honey wood on the outer edge with a darker inner moulding and a thin gold-tone slip. A striking choice for a study, library or dark academia style wall.
