Red & Gilt Florentine-Style — Vintage Miniature Chest of Drawers

A beautifully decorative vintage miniature chest of drawers with an aged gilt finish, deep red panels and ornate metal embellishments.

Three working drawers each have a rounded gilt knob. Heraldic-style plaques decorate the sides, with an ornate raised motif to the top, red-toned drawer interiors and four shaped feet.

No maker’s marks or country-of-origin markings have been found, so the piece is described as Florentine-style. Lovely as a small jewellery chest, trinket cabinet or decorative storage piece.

Approximately 18cm high × 12cm wide.

Condition

Vintage condition, with age-related wear throughout, including rubbing and losses to the gilt finish, surface marks and general patina. Please study all photographs for details.
