Gentle blues, warm creams and leafy greens give this traditional English village scene a soft, airy feel. Presented behind glass in an ornate gold-tone frame with curved edges and raised floral detailing.
A Frost & Reed Ltd. (Bristol & London) label on the reverse references Series H, No. 22, with a 1945 copyright date and the wording “Printed in England”. Please see the photographs of the reverse.
Measurements
Approximately 49.5cm wide × 39.5cm high, including the frame.
Condition
Good overall vintage condition, with age-related marks and wear to the frame finish. The backing shows spotting and discolouration. Please see all photographs for details.
