Norfolk Village by W. Hyams — Vintage Print in an Ornate Gold Frame

Gentle blues, warm creams and leafy greens give this traditional village scene a watercolour feel. Presented behind glass in an ornate gold-tone frame with curved edges and raised floral detailing.

The publisher’s label on the reverse identifies the artwork as Series H, No. 22, published by Frost & Reed Ltd., Bristol & London. It bears a 1945 copyright date and the wording “Printed in England”; the label does not confirm the date this particular print was produced.

Measurements

Approximately 49.5cm wide × 39.5cm high, including the frame.

Condition

Good overall vintage condition, with age-related marks and wear to the frame finish. The backing shows spotting and discolouration. Please see all photographs for details.
